Geodic

Geodic puts your machines on your iPhone and iPad — a full remote desktop, a proper terminal, and a file browser that can move files straight from one machine to another.

It connects to the MeshCentral server you already run. There is no service to sign up for and no account to create here.

• Control any machine A real remote desktop with five gesture profiles, so a register with no mouse and a headless server each behave the way they should. Full keyboard with Ctrl, Alt, Shift and Command.
• Move files between machines Browse Windows, macOS and Linux filesystems. Download, upload, or send files straight from one machine to another — transfers keep running while you use the rest of the app.
• Open a shell A real VT100 terminal, including a choice of Command Prompt or PowerShell on Windows. Works on headless machines with no desktop at all.
• Autotype saved text Passwords and long strings kept in the Keychain and typed straight into a login box, behind Face ID if you want.
• Clipboard, power and messaging Copy text off a machine or onto it, send it between two machines, wake or restart a box, and drop a message onto someone's screen.

Privacy

Geodic collects nothing. No analytics, no advertising, no tracking, no crash reporting. Your credentials stay in the Keychain on your device, and after the first sign-in it stores a revocable token rather than your password. Everything travels between your device and your own server.

Requirements

A MeshCentral server you can reach, and an account on it. Remote desktop needs an agent attached to a graphical session; the terminal and file browser work on headless machines too.
